I'm glad to hear you are starting down the road to slow cooking. Slow cooker applesauce is a great way to start.

I'm a newbie slow cooker user (only 2nd attempt) Tried your recipe last night and boy did my house smell good. So good I refused to cook dinner (chicken, rice and veggies) so I wouldn't diffuse the smell. LOL. Hubby ate it while warm topped with whipped cream. I ate some but being pregnant my taste buds aren't just right so I found a funny aftertaste, but it could be me. Thanks!

What a great idea Eat. I think I'm going to throw a chicken in the slow cooker this weekend. I love the "set it and forget it" concept.
