A Little about Me

The move into my new house is almost complete! I’m looking forward to letting my mind wander in the new kitchen and seeing what creative flavors will transpire. I am now setting in my new office. Yes, my very own office that isn’t shared with a guest bedroom. My computer is set-up and I’m ready to get back to “work”.
I have been reading the Good Mood Food Blog ever since I started writing my own blog. His photos are creatively styled, stories are humorous and recipes are inspiring to make. Since he is located in Dublin, he also provides a unique perspective for this U.S. reader.
So when he asked me to share 7 interesting things you may not know about me, I was happy to respond. So here goes.
#1: My dream is to write a cookbook and actually sell it.
#2: I created my first recipe at the age of 9 called Oat-Nut-Chip Cookies.
#3: There is something strangely comforting about reading food magazines while in the restroom.
#4: We just adopted a Wheaten Terrier puppy and she will be arriving within the week.
#5: My high school graduating class was 75 people.
#6: My favorite meal type is weekend brunch.
#7: I do not consider myself a picky eater, but you will never see me eat olives or fennel.
So there you go! Hope you enjoyed that little insight- now its my turn to tag people:
1. Stacey Snacks
2. Have Cake, Will Travel
3. Cook & Eat
4. Eat Make Read
5. Veggie Girl
6. Diet, Dessert and Dogs
7. Closet Cooking
Well that was fun!
Great ready for the grand finale of Ask Culinary Cory series coming soon!

Too funny – olives and fennel are both on my “will not touch with a 10 foot pole list” and there isn’t too much that I don’t eat!
Congratulations with the new house, Cory! And good luck with your book writing!
