Thank You – Relay for Life

I recently posted an article about my friend Deb’s participation in a Relay for Life event at my alma mater, Grand Valley State University.  The relay is now over and all the money is collected.  So, I thought I would share you with the extraordinary numbers I just received from Deb.

Deb’s goal:  $200
Deb’s haul:  $300!!!!  (thanks to you!)
Deb’s  Team goal:  $5,000
Deb’s Team haul:  $7,811
Total Relay Donations for American Cancer Society:  $87,875!

I would like to extend my special thanks to Michelle and Thérèse-Marie for their generous donations.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see the list of donors directly.  Please accept my apologizes if I missed anyone.  Feel free to shoot me an email, and I will tip my hat to you.

Authors Note:  My sister Rosita is a Junior at Grand Valley State University.  She also participated in the Relay for Life with her sorority.  She said they had a great time for a great cause.
