Lemon Bars

The other day I was reviewing my calendar when I realized November was just around the corner. Which means I become a baking machine to test new recipe ideas in time for the fast approaching holiday season.
My goal this year is to come up with even more original recipes that not only satisfy the taste buds but are easy enough for the average culinary enthusiast. Some ideas include sweet treats like Chocolate Covered Strawberry Brownies (still needs to be refined). My oven has never worked so hard to bake up lovely flavors of happiness.
Of course, I can’t turn my back on my favorite recipes like these Lemon Bars from popular professional foodies like Ina. These bars were like little bursts of sunshine in the summer and will become a refreshing change from the heavy sweets in the winter. This recipe is so easy to make and universal enough to capture hearts of many. I definitely recommend trying them soon.
Lemon Bars
By: Ina Garten
From: Barefoot Contessa Parties
Authors Note: The full version makes a lot of bars. I have cut the recipe in half and baked them in a 9” square pan with no problems. Also, I had made these lemon bars for my Party on the Porch event. They were a huge hit.

I am obsessed with lemon bars AND Ina Garten
Double win!!
These would make a good dessert after a heavy meal. They appear to be light and fluffy. A cup of coffe – and we are all set to go.
Those look perfect. I love Ina.
So refreshing!
