Culinary Cory is now on Facebook

I would rather focus on doing a few things stunningly well than a whole bunch of things that are just average.

Frankly, the thought of creating a Facebook fan page for Culinary Cory had crossed my mind several times throughout the past year. But I never wanted to create something that was nothing more than a glorified repeat of my blog. If I was going to dedicate the effort needed for a fan page, it was going to be done right.

So the idea was tabled for a rainy day…..

That rainy day arrived (it was actually raining) while eating brunch at my friend Zandrea’s gorgeous historic home in Pittsburgh. As we sipped on bubbling glasses of mimosas in her lovely kitchen, out of the blue, she asked me why I hadn’t created a fan page yet. She said, “I would totally be a fan! I love getting posts from my Snickerdoodle.” Yes, she calls me Snickerdoodle.

That got me thinking….

I started to realize my Pyrex measuring cup was overflowing with amazing culinary snippets of information that weren’t always appropriate for the blog, but could be absolutely perfect for a fan page. Like quick cooking tips, pictures of fabulous flops, favorite links and other recipes people have shared with me over the years.

That was when CC on Facebook was born….

So if you can’t get enough of my culinary adventures (or misadventures), then I encourage you to become a fan. My goal is to make CC on Facebook an even more accessible and exciting way to talk about the love of food.
