Hey, Good Lookin’: New Site Design

The last time I made any major design changes to Culinary Cory was back in January 2009; when I decided to switch from a free hosting system to my own servers. Eleven months without a major upgrade is the equivalent to decades in the web world. So I figured it would only be a matter of time before I would leap the site back into this century.
My goals for the redesign were to step beyond just a new pretty look. I wanted to improve the navigation and make it easier to find as many recipes as possible. Be sure to check out the categories listed just below the main navigation bar. You’ll even be able to see additional categories just by hovering over a few of them. My favorite new category is called “easy”. It was inspired by all the requests I have received for easy recipe ideas for dinner, entertaining or munching. Who knows…you might even discover something new or rediscover old favorites.
Finally, I’m extremely proud of how this site has evolved since its launch in August 2008. This new look truly embodies what I think great food should be. A lot of great stories while enjoying clean, exciting and refreshing flavors. Feel free to take a look around and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I have had the same boring BLOGGER template w/ dots for 2 years now.
Everytime I go to switch to Wordpress or something cleaner, I get scared and go back!
